5:40 a.m. update: Still smooth sailing

Highways and freeways are dry and traffic levels are light. That's making for a smooth commute in the early portion of the morning rush.

Highways and freeways are dry and traffic levels are light. That's making for a smooth commute in the early portion of the morning rush.

A few places are experiencing fog, mostly over river crossings such as on Hwy. 169 in Bloomington and the Mendota Bridge.
