DULUTH, Minn. — Three people are dead after two separate motorcycle crashes in Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a man and a woman died Thursday after the man lost control of the bike he was driving and crashed on Interstate 35 in Pine County.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports 57-year-old Terrance Armstrong and 47-year-old Kari Armstrong were airlifted to hospitals in Duluth, where they later died.
Also Thursday, a 24-year-old motorcyclist died when he tried to pass a sport utility vehicle in Rice Lake Township. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says Benjamin Scott Jones of Rice Lake Township was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say Jones was wearing a helmet.
