Minnetonka has one heck of a climb ahead of it. Edina scored three times in the second period and now leads 4-0 over the Skippers with one period to go.
The shots are 18-16 in favor of the Hornets, but you'd never know it. Edina is 100% in charge.
Michael Sit scored first, and go ahead and give the boards an assist for this one. Louie Nanne (I hear he's a freshman ....) shot the puck in from center ice for a routine cycle, but instead of rocketing around it instead shot straight out through the crease and to Sit's stick.
Brett Stolpestad and Jake Sampson also scored.
The Skippers need to get SOMETHING going, and will have a chance with 1:16 of power play.
