The 2-year-old boy killed Thursday when he was struck by a car in Corcoran has been identified as Henry Alexander Lucas Gonzalez.
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office, which released the boy's name Saturday, said he died of blunt force trauma at Maple Grove Hospital.
The boy was in the street near an intersection in Maple Hills Estates, a mobile home park in Corcoran where he lived, when he was hit Thursday evening, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office and Corcoran police are investigating the accident.
