MINNEAPOLIS - Two men have been convicted of killing a couple on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in 2011.

A federal jury in St. Paul found Geshik-O-Binese Martin and Edward Robinson guilty of first- and second-degree murder and robbery.

Craig Roy and Darla Beaulie were killed on New Year's Day, 2011, and money and illegal drugs were stolen from Roy's home on the reservation. The home was destroyed in a fire later that day. Autopsies determined that both victims died of multiple stab wounds.

The Bemidji Pioneer ( http://bit.ly/Z1sDf7) reports David Martin was found guilty Tuesday of one count of robbery. George Martin was acquitted on all counts.
