Barnesville did not have the ball that long, but they Trojans didn't need it it for very long, putting up eye-popping rushing statistics en route to a 49-30 victory over Goodhue in the Class 1A semifinals.

The ball was only in Barnesville's possession for 39 plays and 14:59 seconds but that was more than enough time to roll up 474 yards on the ground. Six of the Trojans' touchdowns came on plays of 25 or more yards, including three TD runs of 74 yards or more. That contributed to a per-rush average of 13.5 yards per carry.

Goodhue responded through the air. QB Brandon Dowden completed 22 of 43 passes for 386 yards and three TDs. But the Wildcats, who ran an amazing 96 plays from scrimmage, were not able to keep up with Barnesville's big plays.
