12,700 wildlife habitat projects completed in 2015

Work done by members of Pheasants Forever

This is why Pheasants Forever is one of the three hunting-based conservation organizations to which I belong:

In 2015,Pheasants Forever, Inc., including its quail division, Quail Forever, worked with more than 35,000 individual landowners. Its chapter affiliates completed more than 12,700 wildlife habitat projects, which combined to improve habitat for pheasants, quail and other wildlife on more than 1.7 million acres.

The other two are Delta Waterfowl and Ducks Unlimited. Their work with landowners and habitat restoration is similar to that of Pheasants Forever.
