Widely regarded as the hippest -- and certainly one of the trippiest -- children's shows currently on television, the Nick Jr. show "Yo Gabba Gabba!" is bringing its boombox full of characters to Minneapolis in a live stage show debuting locally March 13 at Target Center. Tickets ($47, $29 and $19) go on sale Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. With the fuzzy characters Brobee, Foofa and DJ Lance leading the way, the "Yo Gabba Gabba!" tour is titled "There's a Party in My City" and will include appearances by "Just a Friend" rapper Biz Markie (teaching kids how to beat-box) and California surf-punk band the Aquabats (wearing their superhero costumes). Some of the musical guests on the TV show have included indie-rock darlings MGMT, the Shins and -- recently taped for an upcoming episode -- the Flaming Lips. CHRIS RIEMENSCHNEIDER
