Wild coach Mike Yeo confirmed this morning that Darcy Kuemper will start in goal tonight against Nashville.

It will end a streak of 38 straight starts by Devan Dubnyk since the goaltender was acquired in a January trade. Kuemper last started for the Wild on January 6, a 4-3 overtime loss to San Jose. He has appeared in one game since, coming in for Dubnyk on January 20 against Detroit.

Yeo said Kuemper would start during an appearance on KFAN radio.

Kuemper has appeared in 29 games for the Wild this season and has a 2.62 goals-against average. He opened the season with three shutouts in his first four starts, but struggled afterward.

Dubnyk has a 27-8 record with a 1.73 goals-against average since arriving from Arizona.
