This month, Write-On Radio!, the local literary talk show hosted by Lynette Reini-Grandell, Ian Graham Leask and Steve McEllistrem, is moving from its Thursday morning slot to 7 p.m. Tuesdays. You can find the show on KFAI-FM, 90.3 in Minneapolis, and 106.7 in St. Paul.

"Riding With Reindeer: A Bicycle Odyssey Through Finland, Lapland, and Arctic Norway," by Robert M. Goldstein, has been published by Rivendell Publishing in Seattle. Goldstein, the 2006 Benjamin Franklin Award-winner for travel writing, weathers storms, accidents and fears of bears as he pedals from Helsinki through the Finnish forests to Lapland.

•"A Night on the Range," a picture book by Aaron Frisch of North Mankato, illustrated by Chris Sheban, will be published in September by Creative Editions in Mankato.

•To commemorate 100 years of paper manufacturing, Boise Inc. of International Falls, Minn., has published a history of the company. "The Mill at the Falls: 100 Years of Papermaking on the Border," by Bill Beck, is available through the Koochiching County Museum in International Falls.

•"The Opposite of Cold: The Northwoods Finnish Sauna Tradition" will be published in October by the University of Minnesota Press. This lavishly illustrated book was written by Michael Nordskog, with a foreword by Duluth architect David Salmela. The book will be launched at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at the American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Av. S., Mpls.

Debra Frasier's latest picture book, "A Fabulous Fair Alphabet," has been published by Beach Lane Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. From "A is for Arena" to "Z is for Zucchini," Frasier takes readers all over the fairgrounds. She has also been named author-in-residence at this year's Minnesota State Fair, which means she'll be there daily from noon to 2 p.m. Lucky woman.
