Inclement weather has pushed back the closure of the ramp from Little Canada Road to southbound 35E, but look for that to happen this week.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will get to work on building a noise and retaining wall on the west side of I-35E in Little Canada in conjunction with the MnPass lane being added this summer.

Along with the ramp closure, the auxiliary lane from I-694 to Hwy. 36 will be closed, but the freeway will still have three southbound lanes open.

Look for this to be in place until September.

During the ramp closure, motorists on Little Canada Road looking to access southbound I-35E will detour to westbound on Little Canada Road, westbound County Road C, northbound Rice Street and eastbound I-694 to access southbound I-35E.
