A 50-year-old woman was charged Wednesday with robbing a Roseville bank of more than $3,000.

Michelle L. Matthew, of St. Paul, was accused in federal court of holding up the Guaranty Bank on Larpenteur Avenue and making off with $3,313. She was arrested the next night outside a neighborhood bar.

The FBI alleges that Matthew gave a teller a note saying that she would be harmed unless she robbed the bank.

Ramsey County jail records show that Matthew lived on Larpenteur, just west of the bank, and that she was nabbed a day later at Porky's Bar on Payne Avenue in St. Paul.
