A head-on crash in west-central Minnesota killed a 72-year-old woman and injured two men in the other vehicle, authorities in Douglas County said.
The wreck occurred about 2 p.m. Monday on County Road 41 between Interstate 94 and Evansville, Minn., according to the Sheriff's Office.
Aida E. Nolan, of Fargo, crossed the centerline while heading west in her car and hit an eastbound pickup truck, the Sheriff's Office said.
Emergency responders declared the woman dead at the scene. Two men in the pickup, 38-year-old driver Jordan D. Wagner, of Brandon, Minn., and 39-year-old passenger Gordon M. Schmidt, of Parkers Prairie, Minn., suffered minor injuries.
