Wolves-San Antonio game preview

Preview: The Spurs lost at Indiana 99-91 on Monday but have won 14 of 16. Minnesota has lost six straight to the Spurs; the last time Minnesota beat San Antonio was at home on April 8, 2014.

Players to watch: Wolves G Zach LaVine had scored 20 or more in three straight games and in four of five before falling just short with 19 points Monday. Spurs G Manu Ginobili returned after more than a month off with a testicular injury to score 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting against Sacramento on Saturday. F Kawhi Leonard has averaged 18 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games vs. Minnesota. But the Wolves have held F LaMarcus Aldridge to 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games.

Numbers: This game marks the end of the 13th of the 14 back-to-backs on the Wolves schedule this season. The Wolves have gone 2-10 in the second game of back-to-backs.

Injuries: Wolves F Nemanja Bjelica (foot), F Kevin Garnett (knee) and C Nikola Pekovic (foot/heel) are out. The Spurs reported no injuries Monday.
