Wolves return home to face Memphis

Preview: The Timberwolves come back from an 0-2 road trip in which the team gave up double-figure leads in both losses. The Wolves have lost two in a row and 11 of 13. The Grizzlies won at Denver 102-101 Thursday and have won four in a row, six of seven and eight of 10. At 25-19, they are a season-high six games over .500.

Players to watch: Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a 27-point, 17-rebound, six-block game at Dallas on Wednesday. G/F Andrew Wiggins has been their leading scorer in seven of the past eight games, averaging 24.1 points per game over that stretch. Grizzlies C Marc Gasol is coming off a 27-point effort Thursday, including a go-ahead three-point play late in the game. G Mike Conley had 20 points at Denver and also had 20 in a 114-106 victory over the Wolves here Nov. 15.

Numbers: Entering Friday, the Grizzlies are the only team in the top six of the Western Conference with a losing road record (9-12). Memphis is first in the league in turnover differential (3.3) and has had a positive differential in 32 games. Memphis has won 19 of the past 22 games between the two teams. The Wolves have lost 11 games in which they held a double-digit lead.

Injuries: The Wolves report no injuries. Grizzlies G Jordan Adams (knee), F Jarell Martin (left foot) and C Brandon Wright (knee) are out. F Tony Allen (knee/hamstring) is questionable.
