Wolves-Phoenix game preview

Preview: The Timbewolves are 5-2 in their past seven games. After going 0-10 in games decided by four or fewer points, the Wolves have won back-to-back games by three points. The Wolves, 2-0 vs. Phoenix this season, have scored more than 30 points off opponents' turnovers in the past five games. The Wolves are looking for their second three-game winning streak of the season, having won three straight at home from Jan. 9-13. The Suns have won two straight, both on the road, including a 115-103 victory in Toronto on Sunday. The Suns are 7-11 at home.

Players to watch: Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a 32-point, 12-rebound, seven-assist game vs. Denver on Sunday. He has averaged 28.6 points and 13.6 rebounds the past seven games. F/G Andrew Wiggins scored 24 Sunday, giving him 4,020 in his career and making him the sixth-youngest player to reach 4,000 points in league history. F Shabazz Muhammad scored 20 off the bench Sunday, his 18th career 20-point game as a reserve, second most in franchise history (Sam Mitchell had 21). G Zach LaVine has struggled in the four games since his return from a hip injury, shooting 37.2 percent and averaging 10.5 points. The Suns are led by the backcourt of G Eric Bledsoe (20.4 points per game) and Devin Booker (20.5). The two combined for 60 points in the Suns' victory in Toronto, with Bledsoe scoring 40.

Injuries: Neither team reports any injuries.
