Wolves-Indiana game preview

November 25, 2013 at 5:16AM

6 P.M. at INDIANA • FSN, 830-AM

Preview: This challenging November schedule gets even more difficult for the Timberwolves, who on Monday must visit a Pacers team that, at 12-1, is tied with San Antonio for the NBA's best record. Their only loss was a 110-94 defeat at Chicago nine days ago, and that's when Derrick Rose was healthy. Just two of their 12 victories, though, have come against teams with winning records (Chicago, Memphis).

Players to watch: Pacers center Roy Hibbert scored 27 points and had 13 rebounds and six blocked shots in Saturday's victory over the 76ers. He is averaging 12.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.3 blocks a game. … Pacers F Paul George is blossoming into an NBA superstar on both ends. His 19-point game Saturday was only the second time in the first 13 that he had been held under 20 points. He is averaging 24.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals a game.

Injuries: Wolves F Chase Budinger (knee) and C Ronny Turiaf (elbow) are out. Pacers F Danny Granger (strained left calf) is listed as out.
