Rockets seek to extend dominance

Preview: Leading 1-0 in this first-round playoff series, the Rockets now have won 18 of the past 20 meetings between the teams after Sunday's 104-101 victory at Toyota Center. Their current six-game winning streak is the fourth-longest streak in the all-time series. The Rockets have scored at least 100 points in each of the past 20 meetings, and have reached 120 points eight of those times. … The Wolves outrebounded the Rockets 47-37 and outscored them 23-16 at the free-throw line and were outdone in three-pointers by only two (10-8) in Sunday's Game 1. The Rockets lapped the Wolves 69-34 in three-pointers made during the four-game, regular-season series they swept.

Players to watch: The Rockets are 43-3 this season when James Harden, Chris Paul and Clint Capela play together. They won 42 times in the regular season by an average of 11.5 points and the three losses were by a total of 11 points. Without them together, the Rockets were 23-14. … Harden's 44 points Sunday tied the second-most points he has scored in the playoffs. His playoff high was 45 points against Golden State on May 25, 2015. He won the league's regular-season scoring title with a 30.4 points average, joining Elvin Hayes as the only Rockets player to do that. He and Moses Malone are the only Rockets to average 30 in a season.

Injuries: Rockets F Ryan Anderson (ankle sprain) is questionable and F Luc Mbah a Moute (right shoulder dislocation) is out.
