Ricky Rubio has a sprained right elbow and is out indefinitely.

That's the update from the Timberwolves after their point guard was examined Monday by team orthopedic surgeon Diane Dahm of Mayo Clinic, who confirmed the initial diagnosis.

Rubio suffered the injury at the 6:28 mark of the fourth quarter of Minnesota's 106-103 loss at Sacramento on Saturday.
