7 p.m. vs. Golden State • Target Center • FSN, 830-AM

Wolves update: The Timberwolves will take on the Warriors for the fourth time this season and are still searching for their first win against them. Golden State defeated the Wolves 117-107 at Target Center on March 19. In that game, Stephen Curry scored 36 points while Klay Thompson had 28. Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points for the Wolves, who will likely be without Taj Gibson, doubtful because of a left calf strain. In his past seven games as starting point guard, Tyus Jones is averaging 11 points on 44 percent shooting to go with 6.9 assists and one turnover per game.

Warriors update: DeMarcus Cousins has yet to face the Wolves this season, but it appears he will take the floor Friday. Cousins is averaging 15.9 points per game this season in 24 games while taking 12 shots per game. That's 4.5 fewer than his career average. … Forward Kevin Durant has fewer than 20 points in three of his past five games. Against Detroit on Sunday, Durant took just six shots in 35 minutes. He had 17 points in the game against the Wolves last week. … Forward Jordan Bell will be returning from a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.
