MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves have chosen Montenegrin forward Bojan Dubljevic with the 59th overall selection in the second round of the NBA draft.

Dubljevic averaged 9.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for his Spanish league team in Valencia last season. He hails from the same country as Wolves center Nikola Pekovic and will likely remain overseas for at least another year or two.

The Wolves drafted Michigan point guard Trey Burke at No. 9 and traded him to Utah for the 14th and 21st overall picks. They took UCLA swingman Shabazz Muhammad at No. 14 and Louisville center Gorgui Dieng at No. 21.

The Wolves traded the 26th overall pick and guard Malcolm Lee to Golden State for cash considerations and a future second-round pick.
