Preview: The injury-depleted Nuggets are 25-33 and have lost five consecutive games and 10 of their past 11 after Saturday's 102-96 defeat at Portland, a game in which they missed 12 free throws (23-for-35) and lost by six points. They are 1-8 in that stretch without injured point guard Ty Lawson, who fractured a rib Feb. 8 at Detroit and hasn't played since. But Sunday the team upgraded him from doubtful to questionable. The Nuggets also are without Nate Robinson, Danilo Gallinari and JaVale McGee. Their only victory in the 11-game stretch was 101-90 at Milwaukee. … Monday's game completes the season series. The Nuggets lead 2-1, having won at Denver and at Target Center in November while losingt 117-90 in Minneapolis just before the All-Star break last month.

Players to watch: The Nuggets have started newly acquired Aaron Brooks and former Timberwolves guard Randy Foye in the backcourt with Lawson out. Brooks was acquired at the trade deadline from Houston in exchange for Jordan Hamilton. Foye, signed as a free agent last summer, is averaging 16.5 points and shooting 41.5 percent from three-point distance in his past 26 games.

Injuries: Wolves C Ronny Turiaf remains out because of a knee bone bruise. F Danilo Gallinari (torn ACL), C JaVale McGee (tibia stress fracture) and G Nate Robinson (ACL sprain) are out and Lawson (rib fracture) is listed as questionable.
