Wolves have lost 4 in a row at Cleveland, but Cavs are reeling

Preview: The Cavaliers have lost five of their past seven games and nine of 13 after Tuesday's loss at Orlando. They are playing on without injured All-Star Kevin Love. The Wolves, meantime, practiced at home Tuesday morning after they had two rare days off, then flew to Cleveland. … Cleveland's 4-9 slump in its past 13 games started with its 127-99 loss to the Wolves at Target Center on Jan. 8. The Cavs have won the past four games between the teams at Quicken Loans Arena, dating to the Wolves' last victory there in February 2013. … The opening tip is an hour later than usual for ESPN; Hubie Brown and Ryan Ruocco will call the game.

Players to watch: Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins is averaging 29.1 points on 54.7 percent shooting in seven games against the Cavaliers since they drafted and traded him to the Wolves two months later in summer 2014. He went 9-for-19 and scored 25 points in last month's rout of the Cavs. … Superstar LeBron James became the seventh player in NBA history — and the youngest, at 33 years and 24 days — to score 30,000 career points when he did so against San Antonio two weeks ago..

Injuries: Love is out for eight weeks after he broke his left hand during a game at Detroit last week.
