Preview: The 3-3 Bobcats, under new coach Mike Dunlap, ended a three-game losing streak with Saturday's 101-97 overtime victory over Dallas, then beat Washington 92-76 at home on Tuesday night. They won only two of their final 27 games last season, and included was a season-ending 23-game losing streak that they ended by beating Indiana 90-89 on opening night. ... The Wolves are 5-2 but do not have a player in the top 25 in scoring, rebounding, assists or minutes. They have held all but one (Toronto) of their seven opponents to fewer than 100 points and less than 45 percent shooting (Brooklyn).

Players to watch: Charlotte second-year point guard Kemba Walker entered Tuesday's game averaging 18.8 points and 5.8 assists. He set a franchise record with eight steals in Sunday's victory over the Mavericks. ... Lottery pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist from Kentucky scored a career-high 25 in that Dallas game. ... Ex-Wolves point guard Ramon Sessions is playing 26 minutes per game off the Bobcats bench after finishing last season with the Lakers. ... Charlotte acquired 6-9 forward Hakim Warrick (9.5 career ppg) from the Hornets for guard Matt Carroll on Tuesday.

Injuries: Wolves C Nikola Pekovic (sprained ankle) and G J.J. Barea (sprained foot) are questionable, G Brandon Roy is not expected to play and F Kevin Love (broken hand) and G Ricky Rubio (knee surgery) are out. ... Bobcats G Gerald Henderson (sprained foot) is listed as out and G Ben Gordon did not play Tuesday night because of a family matter.
