A big opportunity to hurdle Coyotes

Preview: This is the third and final meeting this season between the Wild and Coyotes. The Wild took the first game 2-1 on Oct. 16, with the Coyotes winning 4-3 Nov. 27. In its past nine visits to Arizona, the Wild is 7-1-1.

Players to watch: Coyotes G Darcy Kuemper is 20-8-6 with a .930 save percentage and 2.13 goals-against average in 2019. D Oliver Ekman-Larsson has seven goals and 15 points in his past 18 games. F Michael Grabner leads the NHL in shorthanded goals with six.

Numbers: Arizona is 9-1-1 in its past 11 home games. The Coyotes have opened the scoring 44 times. The Wild’s eight power-play goals since March 14 are tops in the NHL.

Injuries: Wild Fs Zach Parise (lower body) and Mikko Koivu (torn ACL and meniscus) and D Matt Dumba (torn pectoral) are out. Coyotes G Antti Raanta (lower body), F Nick Schmaltz (lower body) and D Kyle Capobianco (lower body) are also out.
