ABOUT THE D-LEAGUE

What: A 22-team developmental league for the NBA. Started with eight teams in 2001.

Wolves' team: The Iowa Energy (currently owned by Memphis) won the D-League title in 2011. The Energy plays in the Wells Fargo Arena (capacity 16,110) in Des Moines. The arena is also home to the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild.

Atlantic Division: Maine Red Claws, Delaware 87ers, Westchester Knicks, Long Island Nets, Greensboro Swarm, Erie BayHawks.

Central Division: Raptors 905, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Canton Charge, Grand Rapids Drive, Windy City Bulls.

Pacific Division: Los Angeles D-Fenders, Santa Cruz Warriors, Northern Arizona Suns, Reno Bighorns, Salt Lake City Stars.

Southwest Division: Sioux Falls Skyforce, Oklahoma City Blue, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Texas Legends, Austin Spurs, Iowa Energy.
