White Christmas, present and past

It's looking very likely that 2012 will have a white Christmas. But that's not always a given. Based on historic records fewer than three out of four Christmases in the Twin Cities are white. The interactive graphic below shows when Christmas has been old-fashioned and when it's been just basic brown in recent years.
