First up is the Twin Cities Pond and Landscape Tour, featuring the work of eight certified Aquascape contractors. The water features will be open for self-guided touring noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 per person, with all proceeds donated to the Children's Cancer Research Fund. Tour details are available at www.tcpondandlandscapetour.com.

Next is the Minnesota Water Garden Society Pond and Garden Tour, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and next Sunday. It's also a self-guided tour of 13 western metro-area sites. Homeowners will be on hand to answer questions about construction, maintenance, plant choice and care. Tickets are $15 in advance (at www.mwgs.org or 612-803-7663); $20 on tour day.
