AMBER SCHON

28, Deephaven

Drink: Cosmopolitan (in a lowball -- they ran out of martini glasses).

Why: "It's fruity and it tastes good. But you have to keep count. One is enough, but after two, it's trouble."

KARI LARSON

41, Apple Valley

Drink: Pomegranate martini.

Why: "I think pomegranate is good for you. And martinis are in right now."

SHELLY FERN

40, St. Paul

Drink: Green grape martini.

Why: "I had never had a grape martini before. I'm a big fan of martinis. They get you where you want to be."

GAYLE MORONEY

46, Eagan

Drink: Her own mix -- Stoli raspberry vodka, with soda and a splash of cranberry. Lime garnish.

Why: "It's very light and refreshing. The Stoli is a good vodka, so you don't really taste it."

ERIN MCGREW

25, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Drink: Solera's Scarlet Letter (Stoli raspberry, Absolut Citron, Pama liqueur and pomegranate puree).

Why: "I like sweeter drinks, so the raspberry and the pomegranate interested me. You know, fruity things."

LEAH HOOD

24, Minneapolis

Drink: Solera's Chupacabra (Effen Black Cherry vodka, white cranberry juice, dried cherries, cracked black pepper and goat cheese).

Why: "It was just different. And I like cherries. And pepper. And goat cheese, for that matter."
