What Google's new phone will really cost you

BillShrink has updated its comparison of smartphone costs to include Google's new Nexus One. Over two years, on average, the new Google phone will be cheaper than the iPhone and Droid but not as low as the Palm Pre.

BillShrink has updated its comparison of smartphone costs to include Google's new Nexus One. According to the update, the Nexus One will cost $2,339 on average over two years on T-Mobile. The average two-year cost for an iPhone is $2,839 (AT&T), Palm Pre $2,309 (Sprint) and Droid $2,839 (Verizon). Here's the whole comparison (click on the link to see it bigger):
