Newest cover song

"Low," Flo Rida's 2007 hit with T-Pain (aka "Apple Bottom Jeans"). Said bandleader Junior Trejo, "We don't even like rap music, but it's such a big song for dancing."

Favorite cover song

Earth, Wind & Fire's "September." Said Trejo, "It's just a happy song that reaches everybody. I don't care if you're Mexican, Asian, black, whatever, that's one that will make you smile."

Favorite original

"Ay Bonita," which Trejo said he wrote about a decade ago. "It's sort of like our Ricky Martin type of pop song."
