Assist public. Officers responded to a report of a woman accusing her roommate of using her toilet paper. They were advised and separated.
Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 9400 block of Wellington Lane N. An 18-year-old Maple Grove man and a 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man were arrested for possession of marijuana.
Noise complaint. Officers responded to a report of loud banging and yelling at a home in the 5000 block of Main Street. A 44-year-old intoxicated woman, found lying in her front yard, told officers she didn’t have air conditioning and it was too hot in the house. She agreed to go inside and go to bed.
Burglary. A resident reported someone trying to get in their home shortly before 3 a.m. in the 5000 block of Main Street. The resident called back to cancel the call, stating it was a family member who was trying to get inside.
Suspicious activity. Officers located a suspicious vehicle, with fogged windows, in a city park in the 3200 block of Mill Drive. It was occupied by an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl. The couple was issued a warning for their conduct on public property, and for being in a city park after hours. The girl was warned about being out past curfew.
Animal complaint. A woman reported a duck with a possible broken leg at County Road 101 and Evergreen Road. The duck moved off the road on its own and went up a grass hill and underneath a pine tree. The woman was advised to let nature take its course.
Disturbance. A nude male was reported jogging on the trail at County Roads 19 and 24. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
Animal complaint. A woman reported an animal had gotten into her screened tent at her home in the 2300 block of County Road 19. Officers observed a raccoon take off with a bag of hot dog buns. They recovered the buns when the raccoon dropped them during the escape. The woman was advised to secure her food.
Curfew violation. Two 14-year-old girls were cited for violating curfew when they were seen walking down Hunters Trail after 3 a.m.
Burglary. Two boys, ages 12 and 13, were arrested for stealing a bike from a garage in the 11200 block of 57th Avenue N.
Burglary. Officers responded to a report of an alarm going off at Lyn65 Kitchen and Bar, 6439 Lyndale Av. S. It was determined that a burglary had occurred and $600 was missing.
Animal complaint. A woman reported that two chickens were outside the front door of her home in the 24000 block of Smithtown Road.
Alcohol violations. An 18-year-old woman was cited for underage consumption and possession of alcohol, marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at County Road 10 and Main Street E. Multiple juveniles also were cited for underage consumption.
