A day in the great outdoors with activities for children of all ages and abilities. Get up close with crawling critters from the Minnesota Zoomobile. Fall harvest celebration
Bring clothes and accessories to enter the scarecrow contest. There is also a pumpkin decorating contest. See miniature horses and make craft projects. Take a tour of the historic Dorenkemper House, plus beer tasting and food concessions. The Minnesota History Center presents a program on immigrant workers with an actor playing Mary Dodge Woodward, a domestic manager of a bonanza farm.
