Penguins beat Canadiens in shootout
PITTSBURGH – David Perron and Sidney Crosby each scored in a shootout to give the Penguins a 4-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.
Pittsburgh won the shootout 2-0, beating Habs goalie Mike Condon in both rounds. Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury stopped one Montreal shot and other missed the net.
Pascal Dupuis and Olli Maatta had first period goals for Pittsburgh, at 13 seconds and with 44 seconds left, respectively. Patric Hornqvist got the third Penguins goal in the 14th minute of the third period. Crosby had two assists.
