Calgary settles for one point at home

Tyler Seguin scored the lone shootout goal as the visiting Dallas Stars defeated the Calgary Flames 4-3 on Wednesday night for their seventh win in eight games. Ales Hemsky scored twice for Dallas, and Deryk Engelland scored a pair for Calgary. The Flames remained third in the Pacific Division, one point up on Los Angeles.
