Rangers are shut out on their home ice
In his return to Madison Square Garden, where he had played for three years, center Brad Richards scored the game-winner at 7:19 of the third period in the Chicago Blackhawks' 1-0 victory Wednesday night to end the New York Rangers' five-game winning streak. Scott Darling made 25 saves for his first NHL shutout. It was the first time the Rangers were shut out since Jan. 29, a 1-0 loss to Montreal.
