Web gem: Springsteen fan site

www.backstreets.com I've seen Bruce Springsteen five times in the past two years -- and I still can't get enough of him. Because I'm not about to quit my job and follow him on tour (are those diehards called "Bossheads"?), I have to settle for Backstreets.com, which I check at least every two days. Created by the editors of the long-running fanzine of the same name, this exhaustive site offers a detailed breakdown of all Springsteen performances, including the night's most dazzling solo, excerpts of onstage banter and unexpected songs and guests. There are also tips on getting great tickets, reprints of interviews with E Street Band members and a top-notch online store. It's the next best thing to dancing in the dark.
