Southern California football coach Steve Sarkisian followed a familiar recent playbook Sunday, apologizing for bad behavior at a team function.

Per reports — including a video supplied by a source within the team to ESPN — Sarkisian was intoxicated and used coarse language while disparaging other Pacific-12 programs.

It was another reminder of a few things: 1) alcohol is no excuse for bad behavior; 2) these days, a camera is almost always rolling; and 3) the combination of alcohol and cameras can take down just about anyone.
