Records: Gophers 23-8-2, 18-8-2 for third in WCHA; Ohio State 14-17-3, 8-17-3, sixth

Gophers at a glance: Minnesota has won all 10 first-round WCHA playoff series. ... The Gophers have a 15-game winning streak over the Buckeyes, but had an overtime victory and two 4-2 victories this year. ... The line of Amanda Kessel, Sarah Erickson and Jen Schoullis has 34 points in the past six games.

Buckeyes at a glance: Natalie Spooner, a junior forward from Scarborough, Ontario, has a team-high 26 goals. ... Seven of the Buckeyes are from Minnesota, including senior defenseman Shannon Reilly. She is third-highest scorer among blue-liners in the WCHA with eight goals and 14 assists.
