UND beats Omaha, ties for second place • NORTH DAKOTA 2, NEBRASKA OMAHA 1: Senior winger Danny Kristo had a goal and an assist to lead visiting UND (15-8-6, 10-5-6 WCHA) past the Mavericks (16-11-2, 12-7-2) on Friday night. Rocco Grimaldi's 10th goal of the season -- with Kristo getting an assist -- gave North Dakota a 1-1 tie nine minutes into the game. UND, UNO and the Gophers are in a three-way tie for second place, three points behind St. Cloud State.

• ALASKA ANCHORAGE 5, MICHIGAN TECH 4: Jordan Kwas' second goal of the third period, with 45 seconds left, led the Seawolves (4-16-7, 2-15-6). Goalie Rob Gunderson, who came into the game in the sixth minute with UAA trailing 2-0, stopped 36 shots.

• BEMIDJI STATE 2, WISCONSIN 2 (OT): Danny Mattson's unassisted goal six minutes into the third period evened the score as the Beavers (5-16-6, 4-12-5) tied with the Badgers (11-9-6, 8-6-7) in Madison, Wis.

• MINN. STATE MANKATO 4, MINN. DULUTH 2: Teddy Blueger and Eriah Hayes each had a goal and two assists as the Mavericks (17-9-3, 11-9-1) edged the host Bulldogs (10-14-3, 8-10-3.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 1, DENVER 1: Jordan DiGiando's goal in the middle of the second period tied the score for the visiting Tigers (10-14-5, 7-10-4).
