• MINNESOTA DULUTH 5, MICHIGAN TECH 3: Jack Connolly scored twice as the defending national champion Bulldogs extended their unbeaten streak to 11 games Friday with a victory in Houghton, Mich. Connolly scored shorthanded and into an empty net as UMD beat the Huskies for the sixth time in a row. UMD is 9-0-2 since a 5-4 loss to the Gophers on Oct. 15. Michigan Tech lost for just the second time at home this season.

• BEMIDJI STATE 6, ST. CLOUD STATE 6 (OT): Radoslav Illo and Aaron McLeod scored third-period goals as Bemidji State rallied to tie the host Huskies. Ben Hanowski scored two goals for St. Cloud State, which took a 6-4 lead on goals by Travis Novak and Jordy Christian early in the third period before the Beavers came back to tie.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 4, DENVER 3 (OT): Alexander Krushelnyski scored on a penalty shot late in overtime to lift the Tigers beat the Pioneers in Colorado Springs. Krushelnyski, who finished with two goals for the eighth-ranked Tigers, was taken down on a breakaway by David Makowski, resulting in a rare OT penalty shot.

• NORTH DAKOTA 5, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 2: Brock Nelson and Brendan O'Donnell each scored twice and Brad Eidsness stopped 26 of 28 shots as the Sioux won their third game in a row, beating the host Seawolves.

• ALABAMA-HUNTSVILLE 3, NEBRASKA-OMAHA 1: Clarke Saunders stopped 44 shots and Brice Geoffrion scored twice as the host Chargers (1-14-1) won for the first time in 16 games this year, beating the Mavericks, who had a 45-17 advantage in shots on goal. Saunders had 58 saves in a 2-1 overtime victory over the Mavericks last season.
