St. Cloud State sweeps Denver • ST. CLOUD STATE 5, DENVER 1: David Morley scored two power-play goals to lead the Huskies (14-10, 11-5 WCHA) over the Pioneers on Saturday night in St. Cloud. Ben Hanowski and Drew LeBlanc each had a goal and two assists, while Ryan Faragher stopped 26 shots. Defenseman Joey LaLeggia had the goal for Denver (13-8-4, 8-5-4). The Huskies outscored the Pioneers 10-3 in sweeping them. The victory moved St. Cloud State into a first-place tie with the Gophers.

• MICHIGAN TECH 2, BEMIDJI STATE 2 (OT): Blake Pietila's 13th goal of the season, three minutes into the third period, gave the host Huskies (7-12-4, 4-10-4) a tie. Ben Kinne and Aaron McLeod scored for Bemidji State (5-12-5, 4-8-4). Pheonix Copley had 31 saves for Tech, Andrew Walsh 28 for the Beavers.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 5, MINNESOTA DULUTH 1: Alexander Krushelnyski had a goal and two assists for the Tigers (10-14-2, 7-10-1) in their victory over the visisiting Bulldogs (10-11-3, 8-7-3).

• MIAMI (OHIO) 2, WISCONSIN 1: Austin Czarnik and Curtis McKenzie scored goals and Ryn McKay made 33 saves as the No. 8-ranked RedHawks (13-6-5) ended the Badgers' 10-game unbeaten streak. Wisconsin (9-8-5) had gone 8-0-2. Michael Mersch scored for the Badgers.

LATE FRIDAY

• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 3, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 3: The Seawolves broke an eight-game losing streak by scoring twice late in the third period to salvage a tie with the Mavericks. Blake Tatchell and Bobby Murphy had UAA's late goals.
