CLOUD STATE 8, MINNESOTA DULUTH 2: In their first game at Minnesota Duluth's new arena, the Huskies made themselves right at home.Ben Hanowski had two goals and an assist, and the visiting Huskies scored the final seven goals of the game after falling behind in the first period to blow out the third-ranked Bulldogs on Friday night.

The loss dropped UMD out of a first-place tie with Denver, a 2-1 winner over the Gophers at Mariucci Arena.

Nick Jensen had a goal and two assists for St. Cloud State, and Garrett Roe had three assists as the Huskies scored three goals in the first period, four in the second and one in the third.

• NORTH DAKOTA 6, ALASKA-ANCHORAGE 1: Matt Frattin had a goal and two assists as the Sioux moved into second place in the WCHA by pounding the Seawolves in Grand Forks, N.D. North Dakota goalie Aaron Dell made 21 saves to earn his WCHA-leading 19th victory.

North Dakota was playing without injured players Chay Genoway (leg) and Danny Kristo (frostbitten toes) but still got points from 10 players. "We got some great plays ... and some solid play from everybody in the lineup," North Dakota coach Dave Hakatol said.

• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 5, COLORADO COLLEGE 1: Eriah Hayes had two goals and 12 players recorded points for the Mavericks in their victory over the Tigers in Colorado Springs. Michael Dorr had a goal and an assist for the Mavericks. Justin Jokinen and Mike Louwerse also scored goals.

• NEBRASKA-OMAHA 4, WISCONSIN 1: Alex Hudson and Joey Martin each had a goal and assist to lead the host Mavericks to their first-ever victory over the Badgers. Martin and Johnnie Searfoss scored 1:22 apart early in the second period for UNO, and Hudson made it 3-1 with an unassisted goal 1:41 into the third.

• BEMIDJI STATE 2, MICHIGAN TECH 2 (OT): Bemidji State's Aaron McLeod scored midway through the third period to give the Beavers a tie with the Huskies in Houghton, Mich. Bemidji State extended the Huskies' winless streak to 25 games. They are 0-23-2 during a streak that started Oct. 16.
