COLORADO COLLEGE 4, NORTH DAKOTA 2: Joe Howe made 38 saves, including 20 in the first period, as the Tigers took a 4-0 lead and hung on to defeat the Fighting Sioux in a WCHA game on Friday night in Colorado Springs.Alexander Krushelnyski had a goal and an assist, while Dakota Eveland, Jeff Collett and William Rapuzzi also scored for Colorado College (15-11-1, 9-8-0 WCHA).

Jason Gregoire scored both goals in the third period for the Sioux (18-8-2, 13-6-0), including a short-handed breakaway with Colorado College on a 5-on-3 power play.

North Dakota missed a chance to move past idle Denver into first place in the WCHA.

ST. CLOUD STATE 3, MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 3: Drew LeBlanc scored his second goal of the game at 13:16 of the second period, helping the Huskies (11-11-3, 7-8-2 WCHA) tie MSU Mankato (10-11-6, 4-11-4) and extend their unbeaten streak to seven games.

WISCONSIN 4, MICHIGAN TECH 2: Tyler Barnes had a goal and an assist to lead the Badgers (18-8-3, 10-7-2 WCHA) over the Huskies (3-19-3, 1-15-1) in Houghton, Mich. The Huskies' winless streak grew to 21 games (0-19-2).

NEBRASKA OMAHA 4, ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE 0: John Faulkner made 20 saves as the host Mavericks (14-9-2) routed the Chargers (3-24-2) in a nonconference game.
