Bulldogs' Reiter earns first career shutout • MINNESOTA DULUTH 6, MERCYHURST 0: Sophomore goaltender Kenny Reiter made 26 saves and recorded his first career shutout in leading the Bulldogs (12-6-1) past the Lakers (9-10-2) on Saturday at the Catamount Cup tournament in Burlington, Vt. Justin Fontaine had a goal and two assists for Duluth.

ST. CLOUD STATE 5, BROWN 1: Ryan Lasch assisted on three goals and Dan Dunn turned away 24 shots to lead the Huskies (9-7-3) past the visiting Bears (5-8-1). Five players scored goals for St. Cloud State.

MSU MANKATO 3, RIT 0: Phil Cook made 20 saves to earn a shutout and Zach Harrison had three assists as the Mavericks (11-9-2) beat the visiting Tigers (9-8-1).

WISCONSIN 5, MERRIMACK 4: Ryan McDonagh's goal with 8:23 left lifted the Badgers (12-5-2) over the Warriors (7-9-0) at the Badger Showdown in Madison.

NORTH DAKOTA 3, NIAGARA 1: Brett Hextall and Evan Trupp each had one goal and one assist to lead the Sioux (10-6-3) past the Purple Eagles (3-11-2) at the Shillelagh Tournament in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

DENVER 4, BOSTON COLLEGE 3: Rhett Rakhshani scored two of Denver's four goals in the third period as the Pioneers (13-5-2) rallied past the visiting Eagles (10-5-2) in the first round of the Denver Cup.
