Beavers break 12-game winless skid• BEMIDJI STATE 4, MINNESOTA DULUTH 2: Brance Orban scored two power-play goals in the third period as the Beavers (6-17-6, 5-13-5) broke a 12-game winless streak by beating the visiting Bulldogs (10-16-3, 8-12-3). Bemidji State sophomore Andrew Walsh had 38 saves. The Beavers had gone 0-9-3 since beating Denver 5-1 on Dec. 15.

MSU MANKATO 4, MICHIGAN TECH 2: Johnny McInnis scored the game-winning goal at 13:38 of the second period. He also had an assist for host Minnesota State Mankato (19-9-3, 13-9-1). Freshman Alex Petan had twice for the Huskies (10-15-4, 6-13-4).

NEBRASKA OMAHA 3, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 0: Ryan Walters, Brent Gwidt and Matt White had goals for the Mavericks (17-12-2, 13-8-2) as they beat the host Seawolves (4-18-7, 2-17-6).
