WAUPACA, Wis. — Sheriff's officials say a homicide victim found in a burned car in Waupaca County is a woman from Plover.
Sheriff Brad Hardel says the 36-year-old woman may have been killed before she was placed in the car found Wednesday in the Town of Harrison.
WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1bfm9yT ) says police in Plover are also checking an apartment in that community. The state Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting.
Results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death is pending.
