Sometimes a play is executed so flawlessly by an opponent that a fan can't even be mad.

The Angels' double-steal Wednesday against the Twins was one of those plays — a moment so fluid it seemed as though it was a choreographed scene in a movie instead of live action.

With two outs and runners on first and third in the sixth inning, the Angels' Kole Calhoun broke for second base as if attempting a straight steal. After Ervin Santana's pitch was delivered to home plate, catcher Jason Castro threw to second base. But Calhoun, as is customary in designed double steals such as this one, stopped halfway while Cameron Maybin broke for home plate. Brian Dozier's return throw home was a split-second too late as the speedy Maybin scored to give the Angels a critical run. It made the score 2-0 in a game that finished 2-1.

But don't take my word for it: check out the replay here at MLB.com. See if you agree it was just one of those tip-your-hat moments if you're a Twins fan.
