The Gophers defeated Arizona 5-2 earlier Sunday and play tonight for a berth among the final 16 teams in the NCAA softball tournament.

Minnesota lost to Arizona 5-1 in its second game of the tournament on Saturday but defeated the Wildcats 5-2 in a rematch, scoring four runs in the seventh and last inning on a grand slam by Paige Palkovich.
