AFTON

APRIL 4

Safety issue. A group of skateboarders was reported on the road in the 4000 block of Partridge Circle. The caller said it was an ongoing issue when the weather gets nice. Authorities were unable to locate the group.

GRANT

APRIL 3

Theft. A package was reported taken from a home in the 6000 block of Keswick Avenue. After checking their routing number the complainant realized there wasn't supposed to be a delivery that day. No theft occurred.

APRIL 6

Nuisance report. Broken bottles were reported in a driveway in the 1000 block of 67th Lane. The complaint said they would install a trail camera to monitor the area as this has been an ongoing issue.

HUGO

APRIL 1

Suspicious activity. A man at the Water's Edge Park, 15290 Farnham Ave., was reported asking to take photos of children there. The man was with a woman and two kids. A deputy following up on the report contacted the man who was upset and uncooperative when questioned.

APRIL 4

Suspicious activity. A homeowner in the 5000 block of 157th Street reported hearing a knock on their door at 5:20 a.m. and then seeing headlights pulling out of their driveway. A fresh newspaper was found in the door. A deputy promised an extra patrol in the area.

LAKE ELMO

APRIL 4

Neighbor dispute. A resident in the 8000 block of 50th Street reported their neighbor put their dock, on Olson Lake, in front of the complainant's again.

MAHTOMEDI

APRIL 5

Suspicious activity. A male and female were reported hiding behind the dumpster at the Freedom Valu Center, 1000 Wildwood Road. The couple were gone by the time a deputy arrived.

MAY TOWNSHIP

APRIL 1

Animal concern. Two stray dogs were reported laying on the front step of a home in the 14000 block of Ostrum Trail. Animal Control was notified.

OAKDALE

MARCH 29

Assist public. An officer detained an intoxicated man who had passed out in the back of a cab in the 1200 block of Gentry Avenue until his wife arrived to drive him home.

MARCH 30

Suspicious activity. Someone in the 500 block of Gentry Avenue told police their neighbor threw sandwich meat onto their lawn for their dog to eat. The complainant was concerned the food was tampered with and added their dog was severely ill in January. The neighbor refused to answer the door when an officer attempted contact.

Found property. An arrow was found stuck in the base of a tree in the Oakdale Nature Preserve, 4444 Hadley Ave.

MARCH 31

Check welfare. An officer checked on a woman in the 1600 block of Granada Avenue who had mistakenly taken her morning medication at night. The woman was alert and told the officer she felt fine. She was instructed to call 911 if she felt otherwise.

Check welfare. A man reported as sleeping in his car at SuperAmerica, 7570 10th St., at 2:45 a.m. told police he was having a sneezing attack and that was why he was hunched over.

WOODBURY

MARCH 31

Suspicious solicitor. A man asked a resident in the 1800 block of Jewel Drive to eat a bag of gummy bears while a woman with him vacuumed the resident's home for $25 a room. The resident declined and the man and woman drove off.

APRIL 3

Suspicious activity. A male wearing a Darth Vader mask rang a doorbell in the 9300 block of Newcastle Road and said "Trick or treat" before leaving in a dark sedan.
